How do you do a "to the power of

I really need to know how to do this...I know in c you can do it like pow(y,2); and it will raise y to the second power but whats the syntax for VB? thanks

    If you look in the functions list under "math" you'll see one there called "Power" ... same syntax : Power(x,y). This works if you are putting the formula in a cell, otherwise, just code it as x^y where '^' means "to the power of".
