Subtle hyperlink semicolon

One strange thing has come to my attention: when I type an URL link, say "http :// &" (spaced to avoid detection and conversion), I get a semicolon right after the ampersand: http://&;
See that? Why does this happen?
It does only seem to come out in hyperlinks, I've never seen it in normal text.

    Thanks for finding that bug, I have fixed it now.

    The problem was that the rendering function of the page first replaced all '&' characters with '&Amp;', but I have removed that conversion.
