Socket via specified interface

weiccoweicco Posts: 950Member
My friend asked very intresting question which I was unable to answer. If anybody here know the answer plz tell me so I can look cool when I tell my friend the solution. :)

So the problem is to open TCP client socket and connect it to TCP server socket. But should be done using specified interface. Is it possible?

By interface I mean those interfaces that 'route print' shows. And if somebody know how to do this in Linux I would be interested that also.

Thanx in advance.
