hi

another question:
I have to write the following codes to a text file:

Field Delimiter: Hexadecimal code = 1D
Group Delimiter: Hexadecimal code = 1F
de letter O : Hexadecimal code = D6
spatie : Hexadecimal code = 40

I thought I could do it with chr$(1D) for example, but it doesn't seem to work

Does anyone know what this could be?

If you insist on using hexedecimal numbers, you can use
    chr$(val("&H1D"))

val returns the numeric value stored in a string. And &H before a number specifies that it's in hexedecimal notation. So therefore, val("&H1D") returns the decimal value of the hex number 1D.

but it would just be easier to use their decimal codes rather than the hex ones.
    For example
    chr$(29) instead of 1D.
