Replacing Qbasic's DRAW macros

Qbasic (and I believe GWBasic) contains a set of drawing macros for creating line drawings. I would like to port a program that uses these "DRAW" macros extensively to C or Visual Basic. (To make it a real Windows program). So here is my question:

Does anyone know of a library or set of routines for C or VB to process these macros, or a similar set of macros / line drawing commands. I would like to NOT reinvent a wheel if one has already been invented ;-)

Tnx much
