Javascript Pop-Up email

I would like to send an email to someone so that when the recipient opens the
email a javascript message box ar alert box automatically opens up with a
message in it. The recipient uses outlook 2000 so they can accept html. Is
this possible?

    maybe this will work:

    function popupalert() { alert('blaat !!!') }

    something like that

  • Yes that script works for popping up the message-assuming the user is in a browser, but how do I send that in html form to a user's email so that when they open their email the message box pops up?

    you cant do it in HTML. Web browsers are designed to accept javascript, unless outlook express has javascript enabled (highly doubt that) you cant use javascript in it. Javascript isn't really related to html that much: a browser that accepts html doesn't neccesarily accept javascript.
