One of the developers of a static code analyzer has recently uploaded a small e-book “The Ultimate Question of Programming, Refactoring, and Everything”. It gives tips and tricks of how to avoid bugs in C/C++ programs. Yes, this topic isn’t a new one. There is already a large amount of books giving examples of how to shoot yourself in the foot. But this book has some peculiarities.
It examines real, not abstract errors found in contemporary projects. Some examples are just epic. Looking at them you don’t know whether to cry or laugh... I suppose this book could be of interest for the audience of this site.
P.S. There is also a PDF format of it.
