Problem with opening .m files.

olegjoolegjo OsloPosts: 1Member

I'm fairly new to matlab and I can't seem to be able to open any files that are not in the directory created when I installed matlab. I have tried making new paths, but it doesn't work. When I try to open a file in another directory I get

"error creating file/Users.../filename.m in current folder: No such file or directory"

and then it asks me if I want to create an untitled document. Help please!
