How Can I remove a property from a javascript object?

Assume I have created an object as follows:

var newJSONObject = {"name":"John Johnson", "street":"Oslo West 555", "age":33};

How can I remove the object "age" from this?

var newJSONObject = {"name":"John Johnson", "street":"Oslo West 555"};

    delete myJSONObject.age;
    // or,
    delete myJSONObject['age'];
    // or,
    var prop = "age";
    delete myJSONObject[prop];
