How to check whether an array contains a specific value in Java?

Damian99Damian99 USAPosts: 116Member

Assume there is a String array like below.

public static final String[] myValues= new String[] {"NNN","DFSA","KJTS","SDEF"};

What is the best and fastest way to check whether this string array contains a "T" character? Thanks.

    You can use the following method.

    Arrays.asList(ARRAY_NAME).contains(VALUE_TO_COMPARE)

    Ex.

    String[] stringArray = { "a", "b", "c", "d", "e" };
    boolean b = Arrays.asList(stringArray).contains("a");
    System.out.println(b);
