So I'll start off with saying I'm just about completely new to programming. I'm a sophomore in high school and I'm required to do a science fair project. I had an idea of a program that picks up the volume of a room through a computer's mic and then changes the volume of what you're listening to with your earbuds (connected to the computer). So if you go into a noisy room, your music volume (probably just the volume bar on iTunes or some other music player) will be turned up. All I want to know from you guys is if this sort of program would be easy and possible to pull off by a noobie. And if you know any tutorials on that sort of thing, then that would be absolutely great. Thanks.
