client server program

i have made a client server program in c to simulate a print queue (but not actually printing)

in unix environment i have to compile the program as follows

cc myclient.c -lnsl -lsocket

but -l socket is not working in linux.

what is the equivalent in linux.

if possible give some source code to do the program.

    solaris, you need to supply libs, such as -lsocket -lresolv etc etc.

    linux you don't, well not for socket libraries.
