GTK and Motif

Hello All.

I am starting programming GUI's using C++ and Linux. To do this i

have to use either the GTK or the Motif libaries, and I don't have a clue

about them. Could any one offer me a clue.

1) Where do I download these libaries.

2) How do I set them up on the system, ie. install etc...

3) Is there any simple sample source code available to I can see

how to use buttons, dialog boxes, editboxes etc...

4) How do I compile programs using GTK or Motif.

Any Help would be greatly appreciated, and if you have anything useful please

feel free to e-mail me at

cyborghead@netscape.net.

Thanks A Lot.

Kieren
