Hangman program not looping properly

smeyer27smeyer27 Posts: 4Member
I have a program that I'm writing for my intro to C class. The game is supposed to loop until the user guesses the correct word or until they use up their maximum number of guesses. Instead, it doesn't loop at all and goes to the end of the game after only letting the user guess once. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Here is the main code:
int main()

char actualWord[SIZE];
char starWord[SIZE];
char guesslist[MAX];
int len;
int iDoWhile;
char letterGuess=' ';
int num_guess=MAX_GUESSES;
char againPtr=' ';
int i;
int let;
int win;

FILE *blankWord;

blankWord = fopen("words.txt", "r");

ClearStrings(actualWord, starWord, guesslist);

fscanf(blankWord, "%s", actualWord);

printf("This word is %d letters long
", len);

CreateStar(len, starWord);

Word = %s
printf("%d letters long
", len);

printf("You guessed: %c
", letterGuess);

FillGuesses(&letterGuess, guesslist, let);

printf("Letters guessed so far: %s
", guesslist);

CompareGuess(actualWord, starWord, &letterGuess, len);

printf("Guessed letter: %c
", letterGuess);

printf("Star word: %s

", starWord);

win=WinorLose(actualWord, starWord);
/*Right around here is where I'm having trouble getting the game to loop*/

return 0;
