MATLAB program that performs a Monte Carlo simulation of a quaternary PAM communication
system. Perform the simulation for 10,000 symbols (20,000 bits) and measure the symbol error
probability for s2 = 0, s2 = 0.1, s2 = 1.0, and s2 = 2.0. Plot the theoretical error rate and the error
measured from the Monte Carlo simulation and compare these results. Also plot 1000 received signalpulse-
noise samples at the input to the detector for each value of s2.
