Urgent Help!!! java.awt.Image problem

Hi,
Is it possible to
1) convert a java.awt.Image object to an array of bytes
2) convert an java.awt.Image object to a
java.awt.image.BufferedImage
If the above operations are possible I will appreciate
anyone telling on how to go about it. I sample code
snippet will be appreciated
