Multiple forms on a page

Hi,

I have a cgi script that generates an HTML. The HTML page has multiple forms on it. Each form has elements of the same name.

I do a submit from one form, some processing is done by the cgi script, and the same page is loaded again. The problem is, when the page is loaded this time, the form element values from the form that was submitted, these values get populated into the elements of all the forms on the page.

Has anyone else been faced by this kind of a problem?

Any clues how I can prevent this from happening?

Thanks in advance.
