Hey everybody! im a REAL newbie in java but i need help! ive got a strange problem :( Every time I make a program, I do the compiling and all go well! Afterwards, I try to make a second 1 (diff folder) and i have the following message:
name.java:3: cannot find symbol
symbol : method printIn(java.lang.String)
location : class java.io.PrintStream
System.out.printIn("name");
^(the ^ is underneath the second dot)
1 error
press any button to continue...

The strange thing with that is that, when i reinstall JDK, this problem appears again, i can compile once and then the mess apeears!!
Plzzz help!

    :

    Delete the .class file.
    Remove the whole line of code.
    Try compiling.
    Does it compile?

    If it compiles, retype that line again. Do not just paste the old line from clip board or with undo. Retype the line again because the old one probably had a weird character inserted for an unknown reason.
