How to add a horizontal scrollbar to a listbox in VB 6.0

mOskimOski Member Posts: 44
I'm using a lot and I mean A LOT of Listbox for the program that I'm making and I have a VERY BIG problem.... I just discovered that the listbox doesn't have a horizontal scroll bar....

I've searched on how to added them but the example that microsoft gave is not that helpful. I also found some other codes but I don't know how to make them work and other codes that I found I can't seem to understand them. I tried some of them but it always getthis error message: ""Compile error: constants, fixed-length strings, arrays, user-defined types and Declare statements not allowed as Public members of object modules"" Is it really possible to add a horizontal scroll bar to a listbox in Visual Basic 6.0...? if there is a way, a code that can make VB 6.0 automatically put a horizontal scroll bar (without using an input box thinggie) please tell me....

Any help is appreciated

Why not just use ListView in Report-Style? It's more flexible than the Standard-Listbox

EDIT: I think i've seen some codesnippet on the web, where you can add a horizontal scrollbar to a Listbox, but it involves some ridiculous API-Calls. Just try google with the correct search-pattern
