hiding user information from wordpress blogs

encryptionencryption Posts: 2Member
Hi I am a new one arround here.

My question:
You may know those wordpress blogs that when you post something it shows your country flag, operating system and web browser version.
I was thinking how can I hide this information from that script.
I can connect through a proxy server with an unknown country flag, and I have seen people that have done this, but how can I hide my OS and WebBrowser-V info?

Hoping to get some relative ideas,
thanks a lot - encryption.

The browser version and OS are sent in the http-headers. It should be simple enough to spoof those on either the proxy-server or in your browser.

I don't know. I've never used them. I would say: try it. Setup your own webserver, connect to it with your hidden/changed headers and log the connecting clients and OSes to see the results.
