Microsoft KB Articles and my database

I'm currently developing a MS Access database and accompanying API scripts to do an inventory of our network. For each patch applied to a Windows system, I would like to use the accompanying KB article at Microsoft.com as a source of information. Specifically, I would like Access to use the KB# to go to that KB#'s webpage, pull the information for that KB# and populate it into my local Access database. Afterward it can scan for any changes on the KB page and update the records in Access accordingly.

I would much rather keep the information local than simply have a link for users to visit the KB page because not all user machines will have internet access.

Does anyone have an idea on how this would work?
