We are modifying an application to take advantage of multiple cores. We are looking at two alternatives for the threading our application
1. The built in Delphi primitives
2. A third party library called Jibu which we found here: http://www.axon7.com
From our first impressions it seem like Jibu is much easier to use than standard threading stuff. In fact in many ways it seems similar to Intel TBB which we have used in other projects. The difference is that jibu is available on C++, .NET and Java besides Delphi which we see as an advantage shoud we choose to port our app at some point.
Do any of you have any suggestions as what to use? Only Delphi or Delphi and Jibu or are there other libraries we do not know about that are better
