I am wondering how you can block a website URL in both IE and FIREFOX with a batch file. Is that possible? If so how would you go about doing that?
Thanks

No. Batch files can only run DOS commands or start programs. You'll need a firewall or internet filter to block websites.

Im pretty sure you can block pages by editing the hosts file in your local system. Block the url by changing the ip.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hosts_file

    In windows
    %SystemRoot%system32driversetchosts

The file is named "hosts" no extensions.
