problem pleassssssssssssssse...!

hi...

please help me with my problem...!

if we click the hint button, there will come out a pop-up balloon message right from the textbox.

if we press the key Caps Lock, another pop-up balloon message will apper indicating that we had activated Upper Case letters.

same through when we press the key Caps Lock another one that indicates we deactivated the Upper Case letters.

i'm already suffering from this problem for almost 3 weeks...

    Sounds like something is wrong in you Accessibility settings under the Windows control panel.

    Well...

    Do you want to create your own balloon tips or what?
    If so, you can create 2 picture frames over textbox.
    Both of them should be hidden.

    Then when user press CapsLock key, show picture 1 (where is picture what looks what you want it to look) and when user press second time Caps Lock -> hide picture 1 and show picture 2 where is picture what tells that Caps Lock is now off.

    If the problem is that you don't know how to look if Caps Lock is pressed, then you should put Form setting "KeyPreview" to "True".

    Then create public variable bCapsLockState (boolean) where you save the state of the caps lock.

    Then put in Form_KeyDown sub this:

    ' If user has pressed CapsLock
    If KeyCode = &H14 Then
    If bCapsLockState = True Then
    Text1.ToolTipText = "Caps lock is now off!"
    bCapsLockState = False
    Else
    Text1.ToolTipText = "Caps lock is now ON!!!"
    bCapsLockState = True
    End If
    End If

    Surely you should change those lines "Text1.ToolTipText" to Picture1.hide and add line "Picture2.Show" or something like that if you use pictures as a balloontip.

    Or, you can do hidden label over TextBox and when CapsLock is pressed -> change text to label -> show label.

    Hope this help in any ways...
