DirectX SDK Tutorials

Hi,

I've been mucking around with DirectX in C#, but would like to learn it in C++ as well. I am trying to work through the tutorials, but none of them will compile (VB.NET and C# work fine though).

I'm getting linking errors, I tryed including the comment line:

#pragma comment(lib, "d3d9.lib");

(and a couple of other ones as well...)

But it still didn't work.

I wouldn't expect the problem to be coding related, because it was written by the people who made DirectX, so i'll assume they know what they're doing.

Has anyone else had this problem, and/or know how to fix it?

Mark.

    What linker errors do you get? Also, what compilier are you using?

    In any case, insure that your libraries are inside of your compiliers LIB directory.

    I have used DirectX so may be able to help.
