Replacing field values (I'm new to SQL query commands)

paulmorrisonpaulmorrison Member Posts: 127
I want to search the values in a particular field of a table and if it is X (for example) replace it with Y [and save]. I plan on using the execute SQL inside SMS.

    You mean an update query?

    UPDATE [TheTable] SET [TheField] = Y WHERE [TheField] = X

    Jonathan
    ###
    for(74,117,115,116){$::a.=chr};(($_.='qwertyui')&&
    (tr/yuiqwert/her anot/))for($::b);for($::c){$_.=$^X;
    /(p.{2}l)/;$_=$1}$::b=~/(..)$/;print("$::a$::b $::c hack$1.");

    Yeah, Jonathan's answer would work, this is just the most basic SQL Query, you'd probably do some more learning and studying on the SQL language itself. :)
