Is there any way to get debug information of a program?

We always put some debug information in our program (c, c++, c# etc.)
take c# for example, if this program called test.exe:
Console.WriteLine("standard output");
Debug.WriteLine("debug info");
In the cmd line, i wrote
test.exe 1>a.txt
which will print "standard output" in the file 'a.txt',
but how can I put "debug info" into another file? Guess
test.exe 1>a.txt debug>b.txt
