Remove XP style - Delphi 7

tijoentijoen Member Posts: 141
Hi,

I am building a software and adding skin to users choose, but I can't seem to change the color of the scrollbar(x or y) of the TScrollbox...
Even choosing it in object inspector or changing it at run-time
it is painted the XP style and I don't want it to...
Anyhelp please?

should I change it to a TScrollbar? if yes, how so?
or catch the paint message from the scrollbar in teh TScrollbox

I will try more here to see what I can do...

Thanks

It is not possible to change the appearance of the TScrollBar, because the TScrollBar is a simple component wrapper around the TScrollBar ActiveX control.
The only solution is to find/write another scroll bar control, which is not controleed by windows, but by your own code.
