According to my book Sames Teach Yourself PHP, MySQL, and Apache all in one, I need to do the following in order to get started. "Add your php directory to your Windows PATH. What exactly does that mean, and how do I do it.

    Go here: http://www.devside.net/server/webdeveloper

This is much easier, it sets everything up for you including phpMyAdmin for MySQL. All you have to do is download the installer and it sets everything up. Make sure you uninstall apache, php and mysql before you do this though incase it gets messed up.
