loops need help please

Hello all, I have gotten to the point now where serious codeing starts to happen and I have no idea where to even begin on this task...

In the game, when a trade is opened, program will send welcome statement. (this is as far as I got)
Now a timer will begin to watch an area for change.
If this area changes then it will check the individual areas to see which one changed.

in the trade room there are 2 small windows on the left.
one is "yougive" the other is "you take" ("you give" is what I am watching now)
On the bottom of this window are 3 areas to watch (the initail checksum is watching the entire area (all 3 small areas for a change)
these are:
cards: (possible changes 0 to 32)
Other: (possible changes 0 to 32)
confirm (its either blank line or the word "confirm" will appear)

cards AND other TOTAL combined MAX is 32 (either 32/0, 31/0,1, 30/0,1,2 etc etc)combined total is max 32 min 0

each number will create a different pixelchecksum (obviously)
first question:
Should I create a list of ALL possible pixelchecks (0 to 32 for each cards and other)?
do I put them in xls, cvs, or database?
that will get me started BUT if no need for xls, cvs, or database then how shall I read them?

Thank you.

I would use a 2D array, 1 dimension for cards and 1 for other. This is the easiest to code, but has some slack memory space. This way you can store all combinations in 1 simple structure.
As for storing them on file, the easiest is a csv file. The size of the data doesn't warrant a full database; and reading/writing xls files from other programs is a terrible mess.

Thank you Z I have looked into 2D arrays and records.
So I DO need to make a note of each checksum for numbers 1 to 32 for each cards and other correct?
