Change default properties for dialog boxes

VarelaVarela Member Posts: 1
Hello,

I'm having a problem when I create new MFC dialog boxes.
The property Visible in my Environment is set false by default.
So when I call the DoModal() method it simply isn't shown.
Naturally if the dialog box is created by myself I can go to the properties and change the Visivle to true and the problem is solved.
But if the dialog box is not mine, for example, is a CColorDialog, I cannot access its properties, and the dialog is also created with Visible=false.
My question is if there is a way to change the default properties so when I create a new DialogBox the Visible property is by default set to true.

Thank you for your help.

You can, of course, only change the properties of the dialog boxes that you own. Many standard MFC dialogs have additional parameters or class methods that will allow you to change their properties. You just have to read their descriptions in MSDN.
