mysql transactions

BatmanBatman Member Posts: 53
Hello!

Do you know how can I tell mysql to automatically ABORT a transaction when an error occurs ?

Like PostereSQL does. I don't want to check for the result of each and every statement in my transaction, I just want mysql to abort it all at the first error, and I will just check if COMMIT was successfull.

I know this is not good programming style, but I have to fix some web site that was built by someone else, and I would like to group its database accesses into a number of transactions without having to re-build the site.
Thank you
