Hello I'm using MS Access 2003 and J# using Oledb connection and I'm trying to work with formula's with the ^ used for exponents. but for some reason when working with ^'s the database does not recognize the commands. is there a work around for the ^?

Oh a sample query string is ...
UPDATE Library SET Reason = 'Reasoning', Hint = 'Hints' Where Error like 'sin x^2 = (sin x)^2';
