encrypt/decrypt XML files

I would like to save and retrieve info to/from a XML file by using a Clientdataset. I need to encrypt and decrypt this xml file, so it's not readable outside the program. How do I do this?

any suggestions, links or examples would be appriciated.
thanks

I would use an established blockcypher. Using streams you read the data from the file through the cypher object into a TMemoryStream. Then the dataset can access that stream to provide access to the xml-data.
If you want to save it, you save the data into the TMemoryStream and run it through the cypher into the appropriate stream (probably a TFileStream). See this post http://www.programmersheaven.com/c/MsgBoard/read.asp?Board=4&MsgID=353476&Setting=A0001F2001 for cypher names.
