I tryed to run an example program in eclipse and i recieved this error:

Activation.main: warning: sun.rmi.activation.execPolicy system
property unspecified and no ExecPermissions/ExecOptionPermissions
granted; subsequent activation attempts may fail due to unsuccessful
ExecPermission/ExecOptionPermission permission checks. For
documentation on how to configure rmid security, refer to:

http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4/docs/tooldocs/solaris/rmid.html
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4/docs/tooldocs/win32/rmid.html

You need to supply a security policy for the activation of your objects. Remember that RMI allows remotely stored objects to run on other machines. This will create huge security holes if this were allowed by default. Hence it is not allowed and you need to grant special permission to run those objects. The pages show how to grant those permissions.

In the windows command prompt. Rmid stands for "remote method invocation Deamon", which is a simple tool to register remote interfaces with the JVM (as stated by in the first line). Remote method invocation is Java's Remote Procedure Call, which allows registered objects to be called from other machines. Since you're new to java, I would advice you to run other example programs and leave rmi be for the time being.
