history.back

Hi,

Was wondering if anyone knows why the javascript:history.back() (and variations of it) don't appear to work in Mozilla Firefox 1.0 and 1.5 when using iframes.

The link/button which activates the javascript is within the content of an iframe. I want to return to the previous history of the iframe. However, it seems to update the top parent window instead to the previous history of the top parent window.

I have tried the following javascript but none appear to make a difference.

history.back()
window.history.back()
top.frames['isearchresultsDiv'].history.back (isearchresultsDiv being the id/name of the iframe)

It all works fine in IE however.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Trem
