Development Manager

Our client, a leader in interactive educational services, has retained TWC to help them find a Software Development Manager. This is an outstanding opportunity for personal and professional growth, advancement, and leadership within an innovative, growing company. The selected candidate will manage the production of software.

Responsibilities:
Direct the deployment of new software releases
Plan and monitor daily development schedule.
Set milestones for completion of product features within schedule.
Preparation and maintenance of Project Plans and Development Agenda .
Assessment of project risks, development of contingency strategies
Interface with Product Management to guarantee successful tracking of development projects
Carry out post project evaluation and offer recommendations.

Requirements:
PRODUCT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE A MUST - Proven Product Management skills and a successful track record overseeing the development of software releases.
Strong Project Management experience as it relates to the Software Development Lifecycle
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
A proven ability to lead, manage and motivate a development team
Bachelors' degree or equivalent
Exposure to the following technologies is helpful: Visual C++,Visual Basic v6, JavaScript, ASP.NET, CSS, C#, MS SQL Server 2000, XML,COM, IIS
