Determining clicked coordinates??


I got this scene containing few flat textured polygons rendering in a pictureBox. What I need is to click on some point in the pictureBox and convert this to 3D-world coordinates so I could draw directly on the texture.

Any tips for this?


  • You can take the 2D coordinates of the point you clicked and then use the helper function D3DXVec3Unproject() or something like that, to convert them into 3D coordinates. i hope it'll work
