Justify Alignment in RichTextBox control

stacionaristacionari Posts: 1Member
Hi,

How to align selected text in RichText control to Justify (not Left, Center of Right)?

I searched the Internet and only found explanations that this is not supported by VB or even there is some bug in standard RichTextBox control ?!

Does anyone now how to solve this ...?

I have found the same problem using richtextbox. Part of its problem are fonts. Some fonts such as courier and lucida console are fixed or monospaced (that is each character takes up the same amount of space). While others (ie. times roman etc) are not. So what looked great in a notepad listing (where default font is courier) would look horrid in a richtext listing....unless the default font for richtext was a monospace font/ which I did to recreat the look of the notepad product. The same placements in notepad would be there in richtext. There are some weak controls in richtext (like generic tabs and spaces.. not like placing an item exactly at row 3, column 30). Other than that good luck... microsoft needs a better product for reporting. with 2005 they have a new procudt other than crystal reports but it is hard to learn and I not sure if it works well...
