How to pass infos between two ASP-Sources?

Hey out there,

I really need to know if there's a way to pass informations, such as flags, numbers, etc. to a called ASP-page.

I know the Sessions, but I need another way. Maybe using FORMs.

  • If you're going to use forms, you should have the html code looking like this:

    Then, in the file "page.asp", you would have the following:

    <% @LANGUAGE="VBSCRIPT" %>

    <% TextBoxValue=Request.QueryString("TextBox") %>

    Then, throughout the rest of the ASP page, the variable "TextBoxValue" will hold whatever was in the original text box.

    <form method="get" action="page.asp">

    <input type="text" name="TextBox">

    <input type="submit" value="Submit">

    </form>

  • Using the INPUT tag in your HTML, you can use the type: "HIDDEN" so....

    on the page you are posting too, you can retrieve the value by this code:

    <%<br>
    sCustID = Request.Form("cust_id")

    %>

    Hope This helps.
