Ok, so i'm fairly new to c# and programming in general and this may be a dumb question but here goes. I have a binary file that I would like to be able to read and write. I know some of the information that should be in it, but I don't know which part of the binary holds it or where. I know it is not encrypted. It is just a plain binary file. How do I figure out where the information is that I need is. If I convert the whole binary to text, then you can see some stuff, but not most of it. All of it is obviously not in text or over 90% of it. Any help is much appreciated. I've seen some stuff on parsing, but not sure exactly what that means.
Thanks for any help
