Hello. I'm new here and I'm new to programming.

I know some html...self-taught.

I have built many web pages and used pre-scripted javascripts.

I have decided to learn Python.

I have decided this in order to increase my knowledge and, hopefully, to help me in any future endeavors regarding programming.

I know nothing of calls, algorithms, arguments, etc.

Where is a good place to begin?

python.org is the homepage of Python. You can find loads of tutorials and the python interpreter there.

    Hope this helps,
