Help! Custom macro....

nabrownnabrown Posts: 1Member
I'm new to a company that had a guy who wrote a program using macros to do custom quotes from Microsoft Outlook contacts. I have very limited experience with VB, and I'm having to fix and piecework his programs as changes are made. To make a long story short, I am having trouble with his program on Office 2000 applications, but not Office 2003. From Word 2000, this line will not compile:

Dim objOutlook As Outlook.Application

I get an error saying the project or library could not be found. The same line of code compiles and works just fine when used in Word 2003. Any ideas or suggestions?

Struggling in NC,
Nathan

Sounds like an Office version compatibility issue. Open the macro in the VB editor and check the References.
