Hi all,

Does someone know how to paste a bitmap into an rtf?
That would be very helpful for many people.

Thanks in advance.

    The easiest way I think is to use WordPad to paste a BMP to an RTF.

    I think that jjkalki meant for a Delphi code-snippet to perform this instead of a manual way, since this is a Delphi programmers board.

    Oh, sorry... (You're right, Zibadian. I have really forgot some necessary things.) Then this is a solution in delphi: this part of text should be written into the RTF file:

    [blue]
    {*generator Msftedit 5.41.15.1507;}viewkind4uc1pardf0fs20{objectobjemb{*objclass Paint.Picture}objw2850objh2835{*objdata

    [red]!! here is the image data in hex !![/red]

    }}
    [/blue]

    - i hope it works, i used RTF a long time ago... so this text should be written into an RTF file directly into the position where you want it to be. You can read the whole data of the source BMP file, then write it into the place I defined(the red text).

    I really hope I helped.
