Recently I ended up in a discussion on how I really need to use dynamic linking because it's sooooo much better than static linking.
To be a little blunt, I'm only using the CRT unit in this project. I see little (if any) reason to use API from a third-party character-mode display library that does the same thing as the CRT unit, but is "better" becuase it's dynamically linked.
This smells kinda like the GOTO is EVIL arguement.
As it currently stands, the source code will compile under Linux and Windows without any changes. If I use that third-party library, it would not have this cross-over feature.
