# CROSSWORD!!

i am making a crosword puzzle just like everybody does using pascal
i am using 2D-array (array [1..11,1..9] of char) to do it
however i encountered a lot of problems when doing it.

firstly i dunno how to make the following:
xxxxxxxx1x
xxxxx2xxox
xxx3xoxxox
xxxoxoxxox
4oooooooox
xxxoxxxxxx
xx5ooooxxx
xxxoxxxxxx
6oooxxxxxx
xx7oooooox
xxxoxxxxxx

the 'x' is just the puzzlefield

whenever the 'x' is occupied by 'o', it idicates that there's a word for players to guess

the 'number' (i.e 1,2,3,4,5,6,7) is for players to choose which 'word' he or she wants to guess

DO help me with this as i have to hand in this real soon.

THANKS A LOT

I posted a working example recently. Also various other people have asked this question, and their code is posted in previous threads.
