Programming a driver

How does it look like a driver.

Where do i start.

I need a driver running under DOS which at a certain time switches on and off one pin on the printer port.

You probably do not want a driver for this. You probably simply need a TSR, which is basically what drivers are in DOS. Because DOS is real-mode there is nothing a driver can do that any other code can't, however, a driver might be able to change some of DOS's behavior in a more structured fashion, though in this case I think that is unnecessary.

All you need is a TSR, you should be able to find plenty of documentation on that subject and you should be able to make one.

I would offer more specific information, but because I don't know what you are trying to accomplish any more specifically, I cannot.
