change cursor to hourglass

How can I change the cursor to an hourglass indicator when the application is processing a long request?

Can I also disable the Web controls on the form?

I'm familiar with windows forms which have Cursor control, but I cannot find the equivalent functionality in ASP .NET.

if you want to change the cursor, i think you will need to use javascript...
however, yes you can disable the webcontrols... just as u diable them in winforms, I do suggest you read up a bit on how webforms work if you are from winforms background and are new to webforms,
do post any questions you might have
