gluLookAt does not effect on GL Lights?

pexpex Member Posts: 16
Hi! i have a problem.
it seems like my opengl lights billboarded, but it is used after gluLookAt() and not used in Ortho Mode.
is it possible that gluLookAt() doesn't "move" lights? thx,

pex.

gluLookAt does not move lights, it creates a viewing transformation. If you want the lights translated as model vertices are on using gluLookAt - it should do it.

is the only way lights wont be 'billboarded' is to:
    1) get how many units has the camera moved from its previous position
    2) create a 'fixed position' for the Light structure,
2.1) and the fixed position will be the original position + new units (units for each X, Y and Z)?
