System.String[] returned

ChrissyChrissy Posts: 9Member
When I run the following code I get a returned value of System.String[] rather than the array. I've run into this problem before, but I've forgotten what to do about it.

StreamWriter swa = new StreamWriter ("c:\afinal.txt");
StreamReader sra = new StreamReader ("c:\ChristineWork\test1.txt");

ArrayList aColumn = new ArrayList ();

string aLine = sra.ReadToEnd();
Console.WriteLine(aLine);
string[] TokenBuffer = aLine.Split(' ', '
');
Console.WriteLine(TokenBuffer);

Console.ReadLine();
sra.Close();

    instead of using :
    Console.WriteLine(TokenBuffer);
    you should use:
    foreach(string s in TokenBuffer){
    Console.WriteLine(s);
    }
